In Treasure Realms, you use Treasure Tokens to open Bounties that contain a variety of items, including exceptionally rare, time-limited Star Content. You also earn Mythic Medallions and Realm Crystals, which can be exchanged in the Rotating Shop for the exact content you want instead of leaving it to chance.
Treasure Tokens
It all starts with Treasure Tokens, the special currency that gives you access to Bounties.
You can use 195 RP/TC to get 50 Treasure Tokens, which can be turned in for one shot at the current Treasure Realm Bounty.
Treasure Realm Bounty
The Treasure Realm Bounty of Treasure Realms refers to a batch of varied, time-limited loot you might get each time you roll for a Treasure Realm Bounty. This can include tacticians, arenas, Mythic Medallions, Realm Crystals, and more. If you're curious about the exact goodies available in a Bounty (along with your chances of winning said items), select the question mark hovering next to the Treasure Realm's name in the TFT hub.
If you end up pulling content you already own, it will be converted into Realm Crystals or Mythic Medallions depending on its rarity:
- Rare: 150 Realm Crystals
- Epic: 250 Realm Crystals
- Legendary: 500 Realm Crystals
- Mythic Chibi: 10 Mythic Medallions
- Prestige Chibi: 25 Mythic Medallions
It's also important to note that each Bounty is only available for a limited time. While some content persists between Bounties, there are super rare items called Star Content. These items usually leave the Bounty with new sets or patches, but may reappear or simply remain in the Rotating Shop.
Milestone Rewards
Every time you pull a Treasure Realm Bounty, you make progress in a Milestone Reward track on the Treasure Realms screen. Reaching certain milestones unlocks additional rewards, so every pull brings you closer to getting the content you want. This progress persists across Treasure Realms and only resets if you get through the whole track, at which point it begins anew.
Realm's Promise & Promise Tokens
Realms Promise—the number of attempts left until you are guaranteed to get Star Content—will continue to be in effect until Patch 14.11, after which you'll instead get Realm Crystal/Mythic Medallion payouts at certain Milestones throughout Treasure Realms to bring you closer to a guaranteed prize. If you have any Promise Tokens you don't use before Patch 14.11, they'll automatically be converted to a number of Realm Crystals/Mythic Medallions proportional to your Realm's Promise progress.
Star Content
Star Content is the featured prize that is only included in the Bounty and Rotating Shop for a short time. This will often (but not always!) be a tactician/arena or a chibi with a rad skin, and is typically featured front and center in the Treasure Realms hub.
Rotating Shop
The Rotating Shop (which goes live with Patch 14.11) works in tandem with Treasure Realms and battle passes to give you access to the exact rare TFT content you want. Its two storefronts—the Mythic Shop and the Seasonal Shop—work a little differently and use different currency, but you can expect both of them to add (and sometimes remove) content with each patch. If you discover some content that you can't quite afford, check its in-game countdown to know exactly how much time you have.
Mythic Shop
Currency: Mythic Medallions (Earned through Milestones and Treasure Realms drops)
Content: A small selection of rare tacticians, arenas, and booms
The Mythic Rotating Shop is a premium experience in every way. The content is much more rare, but it will also stay around for a little longer than the offerings of the Seasonal Shop. It's likewise a bit more challenging to get Mythic Medallions, though they can often be earned by reaching Treasure Realms Milestones through multiple pulls. However, you can also get some Mythic Medallions as part of your Treasure Realm Bounty.
Seasonal Shop
Currency: Realm Crystals (Earned through Treasure Realms drops, battle passes, and more)
Content: A large selection of new and legacy tacticians and booms
The Seasonal Rotating Shop is a great place to round out your collection with a little legend you might've missed or a chibi champ you've been dying to get your hands on. Its currency, Realm Crystals, is among the most common Treasure Realm Bounty drops. Realm Crystals can also be earned in battle passes and other missions, so it pays to drop into the Seasonal Shop from time to time to see what you can get.
Permanent Currencies
Perhaps the most important thing about Realm Crystals and Mythic Medallions is that they persist between sets. Even if you don't get the content you want from Treasure Realms itself, you'll always be making progress towards getting something from the Rotating Shop, which will eventually offer many of the same items available in the Treasure Realm Bounty. Though a pull may not get you to your destination, it'll at least be a step in the right direction.
