What’s the deal with TFT Coins?
Well first off, now that you’re acquainted, you can call them by their nickname: TC. Like the RP used in TFT PC, TC is an in-game currency bought with real-world money. Also like RP, you’ll earn bonus TP when you purchase it in larger quantities! The exact conversion rate differs from one region to the next, but the TC cost to purchase in-game items doesn’t. In other words, Paddlemar costs the same amount of TC no matter where you live, but the TC itself might cost a slightly different amount for you than it does for your friend in another country.
Do things cost the same amount of TC as they do RP?
Yup! If a Tactician costs 925 RP on PC, they’ll cost 925 TC on mobile.
Do I have to buy TC to play?
Nope! TFT is and always will be a free-to-play game, and all in-game purchases are completely optional cosmetics. Those of us who obsess over collecting every Tactician and arena will certainly be purchasing some TC in the near future, but everyone else can still experience TFT’s satisfying and strategic gameplay with no barriers.
Okay, I have my eyes on an especially adorable Tactician. How do I purchase TC?
You can do it directly in the app! Just select the + at the top of the screen to open the store, then follow the instructions to make the purchase.
Setting Up Payment
Players will need to set up payment on their device’s app marketplace to purchase Wild Cores.

Can I get a refund for the stuff I buy with TC?
Sometimes! There are a few requirements, though. Firstly, the item in question has to be unused (i.e. never equipped and brought into a game). And secondly, it must have been purchased within the last 14 days. For more info, check out our TFT Refund Policy explainer.
Okay, so what about getting a refund for the TC itself?
It may be possible, but since these purchases are made through third-party marketplaces, it’s completely out of our hands. Your best bet is to contact customer support for your chosen platform:

I have both TC on mobile and RP on PC. Can I combine them to make a purchase?
Combining currencies is not possible right now, but it may be possible later on. That said, anything you buy on one platform is usable on the other as long as you’re signed into the same account on both.
