Guest accounts empower you to jump into our mobile games without all the extra steps of making a full account. With nothing more than your birthday (no emails, usernames, or passwords!), you'll be ready join your friends, get in the game, and even take on the ranked queue.
How do guest accounts work?
Guest accounts are available only for Wild Rift and TFT Mobile. It takes just a few touches to create a guest account that's linked to your mobile device, where you'll be able to play PvP matches and even get into ranked games if you meet the regular in-game requirements.
Your guest account saves your progress on your device, but you can always upgrade to a full account if you want to play elsewhere.
They are, however, a few downsides. Since guest accounts don't have a username or password, you can't actively manage your Riot Account or request support until you upgrade to a full account. You can also only player for 30 days or until you make an in-game purchase, which will prompt you to upgrade your account by adding an email, username, and password—or by using an existing Social login like Facebook.

You can upgrade your account to a full Riot Account whenever you like from inside the game client by selecting the buttons shown above. You can also contact us.
All it takes is adding some additional information to create your Riot Account, or using a Social Auth link.
What if I don't upgrade my account after 30 days?
You won't be able to keep playing until you upgrade!
Guest Account Management
I didn't like my Riot ID, can I get another one?
Yep! You can change your Riot ID in game once every 90 days, so a change will be waiting for you right when you start.
For TFTm, just go to:
- Settings > Change Riot ID
For Wild Rift, go to:
- Profile > tap on your profile picture > Change name
I created a guest account but I already had a Riot account, can I merge my progress and content?
If you make progress on two different accounts, we're unable to merge content or progress. You can either keep playing both or focus your efforts on one!
Can I create another guest account?
Of course! Though you'll have to delete your current account first.
Can I transfer my Guest Account to another device?
Guest accounts are bound to a single device, so you can't transfer them anywhere else. However! If you upgrade to a full Riot Account, you can login from anywhere and be sure to play any of our games and save your progress no matter where you are.
I created my Guest account in another country and now that I came back to my home country, can you transfer my Guest Account?
Guest accounts can't be transferred—if you plan on moving countries and want to bring your progress with you, you must upgrade to a Full Riot Account to transfer servers. Just be aware that some regions are unable to transfer your Wild Rift progress, and TFTm require you to use a computer to complete the transfer. Recovering Guest Accounts
I lost my phone but I want to recover my account/don't want to start over, can you recover my Guest Account?
If you are able to remember your Riot ID and some basic information, we can help you find and upgrade your guest account. We'll even help you link it to an email so you won't run into the same issue again. Just send us a ticket and we'll get on the case!
I deleted the game app and now I lost my progress. Can you help me recover it?
Yes—if you can remember some details about your account, we can upgrade and recover your account so your progress won't be lost. Submit a ticket under Account Recovery to get started.
Playing on a Guest Account
Can I use my guest account to play League/VALORANT/LoR/2XKO?
No, guest accounts are valid only for Wild Rift and TFTm. If you want to play other games with the same account, they're just an upgrade away!
What about TFT on PC?
Guest accounts are only available on the mobile version of TFT. If you're interested in playing on PC as well, you can upgrade to a full account to save your progress across devices and log in through the League client.
Signing Out & Deleting the App
What happens to my guest account if I sign out?
When you sign out, you'll be able to login to other accounts, but the account is still bound to the device. It'll be waiting for you whenever you try to make another guest account on that device.
Signing out doesn't delete the account bound to the device.
What happens to my guest account if I delete the associated app?
If you delete the app, the guest account bound to your device also gets deleted.
But not all hope is lost! We may be able to help you find and upgrade your guest account if you send us a ticket with your Riot ID, so drop a line and we'll see what we can do.
I want to delete my guest account.
You can delete your account whenever you want from inside the game. Just remember that account deletion is permanent and irreversible so proceed with caution.
