Oops, All Dragons!
Okay, maybe not all Dragons, but with four (five if you include Nomsy!) new additions, bolstering your team with draconic might has never been easier! Especially with…
Updated Dragons
You know what's better than recruiting a super powerful dragon? Fielding a FULL TEAM OF SUPER POWERFUL DRAGONS.
The Dragons of Uncharted Realms are no longer limited to 1 per team, and they'll even get stronger as you add more of their draconic brethren! To make this dream a little easier to achieve, all dragons are now Tier 3, 4, or 5 and cost 6, 7, or 8 gold respectively.
But it's not just the Dragon champions that are changing! Because there's also…
New Treasure Dragons
The Treasure Dragon is joined by the new Chaos Dragon and Order Dragon, each of which have a 30% chance of appearing instead of their classic predecessor.
The Chaos Dragon comes bearing rare goodies like Emblems, Ornn items, Spatulas and more, while the Order Dragon offers a Radiant item (among other less powerful items) to turn the tide of battle. Whichever appears in your game, know that all 8 players will have the same opportunity to roll for goodies from the same dragon. So make it count!
To learn more about how Dragons will work in Uncharted Realms, check out our /dev TFT Blog: Here Be Dragons.
Origins and Classes
As we explore new territories, let's not forget those we've left behind: Trainers, Revel, and Legends and their related champs won't be making the trip to the new set. They much prefer their realms to be charted, thank you very much.
But fear not! This unexplored world comes with new origins and classes to discover!
New Origins
First up comes the signature trait of the TFT-exclusive dragon Sohm: Lagoon! Flow across the battlefield until your Seastone explodes in a tidal wave of profit!
Lagoon | Lagoon units gain bonus Ability Power and Attack Speed. Additionally, a Seastone appears on the board that grants loot as Lagoon units cast Abilities over time. |
The power of one becomes the strength of many with Darkflight! If you're willing to make a little sacrifice, of course.
Darkflight |
The unit in the Darkflight hex is sacrificed at the start of combat, granting a copy of a random item they have and bonus health to each Darkflight champion. Non-craftable items and Emblems are corrupted when they're copied, instead becoming Darkflight Essence. |
Although why bother augmenting your units when you can alter the battlefield itself with Monolith?
Monolith | Monoliths create 3 hexes on the battlefield. Units standing in these hexes at the start of combat gain 20% damage reduction. |
All of these traits are great and all, but none of them could fill the hole that Trainers have left in our hearts…
That's why Nomsy is back for a solo tour with Prodigy!
Prodigy | Nomsy gains a random trait each game, and summons a former Trainer with that same trait to aid her in battle. The Trainer's Ability Power is always equal to Nomsy's Ability Power. When Nomsy dies, Trainers gain massively increased Attack Speed. |
Returning Traits
Exploring the unknown can be scary, which is why it helps to bring some familiar traits along for the ride! Of course, some have received new twists or champs, so read on to prepare yourself for adventure!
Origins
Origin | Effects |
---|---|
Astral |
After each player combat, gain an Astral Orb. The combined star level of your Astral champions increases the quality of the orb. Astral champions gain bonus Ability Power. (3) 10 Ability Power |
Guild |
Grant a unique bonus to your team; Guild members gain double the amount. Increases for each Guild member in play! Sejuani: +100 Health |
Jade |
Summon movable Jade Statues that grow in power. Each combat, allies who start combat adjacent to a statue gain maximum Health healing every 2 seconds and bonus Attack Speed. When a statue is destroyed, it deals 33% of its Health as magic damage to nearby enemies. |
Mirage |
Mirage units gain a different Trait bonus from game to game. Variations:
|
Ragewing |
Converts Mana to Rage; attacks generate Rage. After casting an Ability, enrage for 4 seconds: Gain bonus Omnivamp and Attack Speed, but can't gain Rage. |
Scalescorn |
Scalescorn champions take reduced damage from high health enemies. If you don't have a Dragon on your team, they also deal a percent of their damage as additional magic damage. |
Shimmerscale |
Grant exclusive random Shimmerscale items that scale with gold. You can remove Shimmerscale items by benching the holder |
Tempest |
After 8 seconds, lightning strikes the battlefield. Enemies are stunned for 1 second and take a percent of their maximum Health as true damage. Then, Tempest champions gain Attack Speed. |
Whispers |
Whispers damage shrinks enemies, reducing their Armor and Magic Resist by 40% for 6 seconds. When they damage a shrunken enemy, Whispers gain stacking Attack Damage and Ability Power. |
Classes
Class | Effects |
---|---|
Assassin |
Innate: When combat starts, Assassins leap to the enemy backline. Assassins' Abilities can critically strike and they gain bonus Critical Strike Chance and bonus Critical Strike Damage. |
Bard |
Allies that survive player combat have a 2% chance to create a Doot. Bard always creates a Doot when dancing. Each Doot you collect increases your Shop odds by 1% for tiers 3, 4, and 5. |
Bruiser |
Your team gains bonus maximum Health. Bruisers gain double the bonus. |
Cannoneer |
Every 5th attack fires a cannon shot that explodes for physical damage to enemies around the target. |
Cavalier |
Innate: Charge quickly towards their target whenever they move. Cavaliers gain Armor and Magic Resist. At the start of combat and after each charge, gain double the amount for 4 seconds. |
Dragonmancer |
Use the Dragonmancer Blessing to choose a Hero. The Hero gains massively increased Health and Ability Power, which increases by 20% per star level of your Dragonmancers. |
Evoker |
Gain Mana whenever an ally or enemy casts an Ability. |
Guardian |
Once per combat at 50% Health, Guardians shield themselves and their closest ally. Shields stack! |
Mage |
Mages cast twice and have modified total Ability Power. |
Mystic |
Your team gains Magic Resist. |
Shapeshifter |
Transforming grants bonus maximum Health and heals for that amount. |
Spell Thief |
Nab a new ability after each cast and at the start of every round. |
Starcaller |
The first Starcaller to cast their Ability each combat heals your Tactician for (2/3/75), depending on their star level. Excess healing disintegrates an enemy champion. |
Swiftshot |
Innate: Gain 2 hex Attack Range. Swiftshots gain Attack Speed for each hex between themselves and their target. |
Warrior |
Warriors' attacks have a 50% chance to increase the damage of their next attack. |
Ranked Reset
Since mid-sets like Uncharted Realms preserve most of the mechanics and champions of the previous set, ranks will only be getting a soft reset. For the vast majority of you, that means dropping one full tier from your previous rank. Gold II will become Silver II, Diamond IV changes to Platinum IV, etc..
If you're one of the tactical titans who managed to hit Master and above, your rank will be reset to Diamond IV to give us mere mortals a chance to catch up!
Ranked Rewards
Conquering the Dragonlands deserves a mighty prize! Ranked players will be well-rewarded based on how far they climbed, and your Dragonlands rewards will be distributed throughout the Uncharted Realms mid-set.
Now without further ado, let's take a look at what you'll get!
Standard
Placed Gold or higher in Dragonlands? Get ready to show off those various victories with an emote representing your rank!
Gold, Platinum, Diamond
Master, Grandmaster, Challenger
Hyper Roll
If your Hyper Roll victories helped you climb to Blue, Purple, or Hyper tier upon entering the Dragonlands, you'll receive an emote based on your rank featuring—HEY! That's not food! Get that out of your mouth right this instant!
Blue, Purple, Hyper
…Aww, who are we kidding? We can't stay mad at you, Poggles!
Double Up
Teamwork makes the dream work—especially if that dream is claiming ranked rewards in Double Up! Those of you who reached Gold can higher can flex your duo queue prowess with the Burno Bros!
Gold, Platinum, Diamond
Master, Grandmaster, Challenger
Provisional Games
After the set kicks off, everybody who plays ranked will start with five provisional placement games. During those games, you won't lose any LP for finishing in the bottom 4, and you'll earn extra LP for placing in the top 4—or top 2 for Double Up.

Man, it seems like everybody has caught dragon fever—even Pengu!
The intrepid wielder of the golden spatula is doing his best draconic cosplay (dracosplay?) as the latest Mythic little legend, Dragon Trainer Pengu! Those looking to strike the perfect balance between cute and deadly (ie. almost entirely cute) have a 5% chance of getting Dragon Trainer Pengu each time they open a Splash Resort Chest (390 RP/TC).
If you'd rather add a Real Deal Dragon™ to your roster, then check out the lovable Bungo, a dragon whelp more likely to melt your heart than your face! …Probably!
What's that? You prefer something more…refined? Say no more! Prancie literally radiates elegance! Oooor heat, or frost, depending on which one you get!
Random Little Legends will hatch from eggs, but you can also purchase specific variations if you don't want to leave it up to chance.
If Chibis are more your speed, then take a look—er, lay your eyes upon… That is, take a gander at…
…HEY EVERYBODY IT'S CHIBI LEE SIN!
Chibi Lee Sin can be purchased directly from the shop for 1,900 RP/TC and also comes with some of the Pass bundles as outlined below. Regardless how you add him to your Roster, you'll also be getting his signature boom: Resonating Strike!
Finally, those keen on giving the blind monk more set-appropriate duds can kick it with Chibi Dragonmancer Lee Sin!
